Hi, I’m Taylor!

I am a first-year Doctoral Academy Fellow and Graduate Assistant in the Department of Education Reform at the University of Arkansas, working on my PhD in Education Policy.

My work focuses on various topics in public education. I study the teacher and administrator labor market, with an emphasis on educator well-being.

I am committed to conducting relevant, rigorous research to share with practitioners and policymakers.

Before joining this PhD program, I earned my Ed.S. in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University, my M.S. in Counseling from the University of Arkansas, and my B.S. in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I am originally from Colorado; yet, I have dedicated the last 15 years to serving Arkansas public schools. My experience includes being a teacher, school counselor, and principal, which shapes my approach to research. I have a profound respect for individuals working on the front lines of education.

Thank you for joining me on my Education Policy journey. Feel free to reach out with any questions!
